Kranjska Gora, meetings with beautiful scenery in nature’s embrace

Kranjska Gora is a charming alpine town with picturesque scenery. It boasts many natural treasures and adventure opportunities in all seasons. Kranjska Gora is most known as a winter sports centre, because it is the venue of the international FIS ski competitions in alpine skiing in Vitranc and ski jumps in Planica. In the summer months, the destination is taken over by different activities, from hiking, mountaineering and cycling, to adrenaline adventures such as zipline, wind tunnel flying or rock climbing.

The destination in direct contact with the Julian Alps makes a great venue for MICE industry events due to its excellent location and facilities. The great advantage of Kranjska Gora are the close proximity to the triple border with Italy and Austria, as well as a wide range of venues, hotels and entertainment activities. The hotels offer state-of-the-art convention centres with stunning views of the surrounding mountains, as well as a wealth of wellness amenities for leisurely activities.

Conference facilities

Kranjska Gora is a popular destination for congresses, business meetings and incentive events, combining a picturesque landscape, numerous sports activities and an extensive range of congress services. The three Hit Alpinea hotels offer a total of 14 halls of different sizes, equipped with standard, modern technical equipment. The Kompas Hotel has five individual halls that can be combined into two larger halls and can accommodate between 40 and 360 guests. The Ramada Resort Hotel has six individual halls, two of which can be combined into a larger hall that offers plenty of natural light and beautiful views. These halls can host from 30 to 250 people. There is also a Multipurpose hall in the city centre, which can accommodate up to 1.000 people.

For events that do not require a classic hall, Lake Jasna or Chalet Resort Jasna with a lake beach, café and restaurant are great venues for outdoor dining and gathering. For slightly larger events, the Planica Nordic Centre offers to help you with the entire organization, entertainment and animation at the event that the guests will surely remember.

Accommodation facilities

Accommodations of various types and categories are available with a total of 8.136 beds. In three larger four-star hotels in the immediate vicinity of each other, there are a total of 377 rooms and 746 beds. In addition to larger hotels, there are several smaller hotels, guesthouses, apartments and private rooms at the destination.
